Experience New Mexico’s #1 Campground – Below are our 8 Exclusive Sites, and a description of each of them. Click on any of the photos to be taken to more info about each site on Hipcamp or to check that specific site’s availability.
Site #1 is great for larger groups and Large RVs. This is our old site #5. This site is intended for multiple RVs or large groups with multiple vehicles. It sits in the middle of a large open area, surrounded by Big Views of the surrounding mountains, great stars, and a few big trees. This is one of our 2 Stargazer Sites and is a favorite for the larger RVs as it is the easiest to get to.
Site #2 is the Flattest spot on the whole ranch. It is great for large groups, or large RVs looking for Expansive sky views, and Gnarly sunsets. It is closest to the Barn and likely to have a visit from our resident horses. It is a great companion site with Site #1 as well for those Family Reunions, weddings, motorcycle clubs or Church Groups, we as seen it all. Huge Firepit, Log Benches, Picnic Table, and tons of room. This is the whole package.
“The Ridge” This Site sits atop the Ridge and overlooks everything. This is where Amazon Prime shot “Outer Range” and is a gorgeous site. It is a mixture of all of the sites and is great for Large groups, or cozy couples. RV’s and Tents are accessible at the Ridge. This is our very best stargazer/sunrise/sunset site. It is capable of fitting 3 or 4 large RVs and is a great location for larger groups. A few seasoned E<< vets have dubbed it the ‘Best Spot’, we honestly still can’t decide though… They are each so unique and present a different experience overall. We encourage you to try them all!
This is our smallest campsite. It overlooks the valley and the ponds. It is most often the favorite for small groups or couples due to the exceptional views overlooking the water. It is not large enough for any camper larger than 18ft due to the trees on the teardrop-shaped drive. Only pop-ups, class A and teardrops are allowed here. It is best served as a tent site. It is also located closest to the ranch house at about 200 yards from the house. It is really best for any group smaller than 8, or people wanting to be remote without being “out there”.
Site #5: is located in the middle of the ranch. It is one of our larger spots and is perfect for everyone. It overlooks the valley and has 2 fire pits and hammocks. A great site for more than one trailer or RV. It is also easily accessible. It could easily fit 4 45ft RV’s with space to spare, or 3 different families and their tents. It is a great companion site for site 6 as well for those Large group gatherings.
Site #6 was also built for Larger Rvs Or larger Groups with multiple tents. This site could easily fit 8 tents. It is also very accessible to Motorhomes and large units. We have had 4 RVs on this site at once with space to spare. It is a mix of all of the environments we have here, with Big skies, Big trees, big views, and big fire pits. We built this site to accommodate the whole tribe. Come one, Come all! This is a great companion site to Spot #5 as well as they are next to each other.
Site #7: is a tent-only site! It is hidden in the Ponderosa Pines on top of a hill, that sits in the middle of the 3 largest trees on the ranch. It is secluded and perfect for those wanting to really get in the woods. TRAILERS CANNOT GET TO SITE 7, due to very tight turns, and trees. Do not be surprised by this. This is a tent site only!
Site #8: is the most remote site. It sits on top of a pretty large cliff system that the Ute Indians lived in. It has some of the most remote views and is by far the most private site. This is Landon’s favorite site. It is on top of a 45 ft cliff though and is not the best fit for groups with small children. TRAILERS CANNOT GET TO SITE 8, due to very tight turns, and trees. Do not be surprised by this.
